According to the site preDevCamp is an upcoming not-for-profit gathering to develop applications for Palm Pre using both the Mojo SDK and traditional web standards. The event is currently being planned in over 60 cities around the world. I will be attending the one here in Austin, and will post photos of the event here on this site.
Attendees will be able to:
* Create new applications for the Palm Pre.
* Migrate existing mobile & Linux based applications to the Palm Pre.
* Test and optimize applications for the Palm Pre.
They have setup a great website and a Twitter channel (http://twitter.com/preDevCamp) to keep up with updates. The camps will be tentatively held a week after the official Pre launch. Attendees will include mobile developers, web developers, UI designers, and testers and is basically open to anyone interested. Attendees can work solo or in groups and are also encouraged to team up on developing stuff for the Pre
