News: MotionApps Classic - Chosen as Palm OS Emulator for Pre

During a recent press release Palm announced MotionApps is creating an emulator application that will allow (most) legacy Palm OS applications to run on webOS devices.
The application, is called "Classic" and will be available for purchase when the Palm Pre becomes available from Sprint in the first half of 2009. This program is really exciting since it will open the door to 30,000+ PalmOS applications.
According to the MotionApps website "Compared to Treo 700p your PalmOS apps will run approximately twice as fast on Classic."

Can't wait to see this in action. I have invsted more money (on Palm OS applications) then any other mobile platform. So, now that I will be able to use them on my new Pre, I am sold!
