News: Could The Pre Upstage the iPhone, Some Developers Think Yes

There is a great article in eWeek about "Why Some Developers Think the Palm Pre Could Upstage the iPhone".
Besides the design of the actual hardware itself, the Pre opens the door to many developers, "It has a first-class user experience, and one thing that stood out for us was the ease of development for the platform because it's based on Web technologyâ€"HTML, CSS and JavaScript,".
As a developer, I'm excited to start developing applications on the Pre, this platform will provide access to technology I have used over and over again, so getting started should be simple. I am on the waiting list for the SDK, as soon as I'm approved (and allowed) expect some reviews here on the site.
