Rumor: Palm Pre Manufacturer Appears to be Chi Mei Communication Systems

The Palm Pre manufacturing process seems to have been given some news and appears that it will be assembled in Taiwan.
Engadget Mobile has a posting stating that a Taiwanese OEM called Chi Mei Communication Systems (CMCS) will have the honor of assembling the smartphones. CMCS also manufactures phones for Motorola but is a smaller player in the manufacturing world. The article also says that production could begin as early as March!
